A dedicated pharmacist, established community member and a pioneer in the healthcare industry, Bob Mehr is a prime example of what hard work and forward thinking can accomplish. Since 1999 Bob Mehr has been the President and CEO of Pure Integrative Pharmacy. He opened his first Pharmacy in Shawnigan Lake, Vancouver Island. Since then, Bob has gone to open 18 Pure locations in the Greater Vancouver area.

Beginning his career in healthcare as a Compounding Pharmacist, Bob has developed into a business innovator and industry leader. He began Pure Pharmacy from the understanding that our approach to health and wellness needed to head in a new direction. Focusing on preventative medicine and promoting vitality, Bob’s vision was to combine a holistic and integrative health model with traditional pharmacy services. In realizing his vision, Bob has managed to create pharmacies like no other.

Bob takes an active role in his community by participating in charitable events and holding regular health seminars. He has an enthusiastic, helpful and vibrant attitude, and it translates into every Pure Pharmacy location. In every store, he has created an atmosphere that promotes the three things that Bob values most: family, community and health.

As the Pure Pharmacy group continues to expand, Bob remains a committed leader in the integrative healthcare movement. Bob has specialized training from the PCCA—the Professional Compounding Center of America, and his devotion to the profession earned him the title of Top Compounding Pharmacist in 2005. He has also received many other awards and recognitions Most notably, Bob received Outstanding Pharmacy Owner at the Commitment to Care and Service Awards in 2010. Bob is also a proud supporter of InspireHealth Supportive Cancer Care located in Vancouver. By dedicating his time as a volunteer clinical pharmacist, he is able to assist InspireHealth by meeting with cancer patients to review their medications and supplements.
